The latest article on PC Monitors focusses on the history of the PC monitor, and the evolution of monitor technology. We look at monitor technology over the years from monochrome CRT (CCFL) monitors, to ever-improving colour CRT monitors and TFT LCD displays. Looking back, and put into the context of the future, it is humbling to see how far we’ve come, technologicially, over the past few decades of computing displays. Tomorrow we shall look to the future, to see how things should shape up for PC monitors this coming decade – these are exciting times.
