CES 2010 has seen PC monitor manufacturer ViewSonic announce a lineup of 5 new LED-backlit PC monitors. These include 22-inch and 24-inch models aimed at “enthusiasts” and “gamers”, to be launched in March. The most interesting model, the 24-inch V3D241wm-LED, combines an LED backlight with (presumably 120Hz) 3D capability – as PC Monitors notes in the upcoming “future” monitor technology article and Samsung 2233RZ review, this combination of technology is an important stopgap between LCD and OLED technologies. We look forward to getting our hands on these monitors for a review in the future, but in the meantime check out the ViewSonic press release.
